For the third consecutive year jazz icon Alexander Zonjic brought a memorable event to Heritage Landing in Muskegon, MI.
‘Shoreline Jazz Festival 2016’ was an exciting weekend affair from beginning to end, entertaining the thousands who attended on August 26, 27, and 28. Liquid Arts & Entertainment was on hand to jam along with the stars and their many admirers.
Presented by DTE Energy, ‘Shoreline’ boasted yet another tremendous line up, with each act shining like the sun over the shimmering waters of Lake Michigan.
Legendary singer Jeffery Osborn closed out the event Sunday night with an at times smooth, at times very upbeat performance that kept the engaged ‘Shoreline’ audience cheering throughout. As the sun went down ovations went up.
Hackley Park in downtown Muskegon was jam packed Friday night for ‘Jazz in the Park’. A free event, Zonjic along with his stellar band and special guest Eric Darius ignited a roaring outdoor party.
The party kept roaring Saturday at Heritage Landing with outstanding performances by Bryan Lubeck, Dee Brown, Zonjic with special guest Bob James, The Ohio Players, and Brian Culbertson. And after this party was the official ‘After Party Jam’ in Holiday Inn’s Main Ballroom. Zonjic and Darius were joined by jazz star Phil Denny among others. Dancing, sweating and smiling ensued.
Sunday’s incredible lineup of 496 West, Javier Colon, Spyro Gyra, Najee, and Osborn was the perfect way to cap a satisfying weekend of fun, music, and togetherness. We’re already anxious for 2017!| By The Liquidation Committee
