There’s a reason Julie Foudy’s analysist of soccer is so well-received. Before doing game commentary for ESPN or writing columns for espnW, Foudy was quite the player. A National Soccer Hall of Fame player to be exact. During her illustrious career the midfielder from California became a 2-time FIFA World Cup Champion, an Olympic gold medalist, and both the first American and women to receive the FIFA Fair Play Award.
Today she’s added to her inspiring legacy with The Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy and her book “Choose to Matter: Being Courageously and Fabulously YOU”.
LiquidAE.com had the honor of interviewing Julie Foudy at the 2nd annual espnW: Women + Sports, Chicago. Enjoy!
