[Art (noun): 1. the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. 2. the various branches of creative activity.]

Our staff at don’t have an accurate tally of videos released in 2017. We saw our share of impressive visuals to good songs by talented recording artists. Surprisingly though, the best of them all came from Saturday Night Live.

In a skit featuring a group called De-Von-Tre (its members portrayed by Chance The Rapper and comedians Chris Redd and Kenan Thompson), the 90s R&B-style trio sing a slow jam professing their desire for 44th United State President Barack Obama to return to the Oval Office.

It recreates the era it parodies perfectly. From the colors to the wardrobes, to a scene of them singing outside in the rain, everything here compliments the hilarious yet entertaining song.

So what if it’s from SNL and a fictional group. It’s the best music video of the year! |

Artist (noun): 1. a person skilled at a particular task or occupation.
